Connecting Refugees

Outreach
to Muslim Refugees
in Greece

Our Vision

In Greece, thousands of Muslim refugees live in prolonged uncertainty—far from home, separated from family, and often overlooked by existing systems.
Our outreach exists to meet them where they are, offering dignity, compassionate care, and the hope of Christ through trusted relationships.

We believe that transformation begins not with programs, but with presence.

The Reality on the Ground

For many Muslim refugees in Greece, life is marked by waiting and isolation.

  1. Limited access to consistent services

  2. Language and cultural barriers

  3. Trauma from war, displacement, and loss

  4. Fear and suspicion toward institutions and religious groups

  5. Deep spiritual questions with few safe places to ask them

Behind every statistic is a person longing to be seen, heard, and valued.

Holistic Care

We address practical, emotional, and spiritual needs together—listening deeply, serving humbly, and sharing hope naturally.

Culturally Sensitive & Safe

We engage refugees from Muslim backgrounds with respect for their culture and story, creating safe spaces where faith conversations are never forced.

Our Outreach Approach

What sets our outreach apart is relationship-centered ministry grounded in respect, patience, and faith.

Relational, Not Transactional

We prioritize long-term relationships over one-time interactions, building trust through regular presence in homes and communities.

What Outreach Looks Like

Our outreach includes:

  • Home visits and hospitality-based conversations

  • Weekly tea gatherings and community connections

  • Language and life-skills support

  • Trauma-informed listening and encouragement

  • Emergency assistance when critical gaps arise

Each interaction is an opportunity to communicate dignity, love, and truth.

  • “This is the first time someone listened to my story without trying to use me or change me.”

    —A young man from Afghanistan

  • "I couldn't speak English at all, but thanks to the English class, I can now communicate in English and have conversations with others."

—Former Iranian student who moved to the UK.

  • "It was difficult for my children to eat humanitarian-provided food, but I am glad that I can get food voucher and buy local food at the market. "

—Single Syrian Mother with four children

What began as a simple conversation over tea became the start of healing—and a journey of faith.

Stories like this are unfolding quietly, person by person, relationship by relationship.
